One Third Studio is a dynamic design trio founded by Amna Bin Bishr, Duna Alajlan, and Dania Alajlan, three female designers committed to creating innovative works that honor the rich heritage of the United Arab Emirates. Amna, an Emirati born in 2000, holds a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture and Design from the University of Sharjah. Duna, also born in 2000 in Dubai with Iraqi roots, shares the same degree in Interior Architecture and Design. Dania, born in 1995, holds a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Sharjah and a Master's degree in Urban Planning from the American University of Sharjah.

The studio values authenticity and originality, striving to infuse each design with elements that reflect the UAE's deep cultural traditions. One Third Studio combines traditional Emirati motifs with contemporary aesthetics, promoting the sustainability of traditional crafts within the Emirati community. Their work has gained recognition at prestigious events such as the UAE Designer Exhibition 4.0 during Dubai Design Week 2023 and the Sikka Art Fair 2024. The studio's collections, including the Al Thara and Al Thuraya collections, showcase their dedication to versatile design, incorporating functional pieces like a display cabinet with solid crystal legs and a multifunctional bench inspired by the traditional Emirati "Al Mandoos Box."

One Third Studio had the honor of designing the Al Marmoom Roots Trophy for the 3rd Al Marmoom Film Festival 2024. This project highlights their commitment to merging traditional heritage with modern design, a theme central to their work.
